Hello fellow editors! I have exciting news. The RAF Museum is trying to recover a near completely intact Dornier 17 bomber! If successful, it will be the only complete Dornier in the world. It was found in the English Channel and it was apparently shot down during the Battle of Britain by a Boulton Paul Defiant. It will be a difficult undertaking but will be like no other recovery. Good luck and perhaps once restored, an editor here will be able to see it in person! --15:31,5/3/2013 15:31, May 3, 2013 (UTC)

Hello fellow contributors! I am back from my break and I have just noticed the recently implemented WAM score. I was disappointed slightly at first since we did not make it on the top 5,000 wikis but I take this as a sign that we have a way to improve! I do not mean getting competitive with other wikis but instead to see how we rank as a wiki. So I will be going around the wiki getting things started and making things more productive. Good Luck everyone! 00:06,4/20/2013 00:06, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

Anyway, as you may have already heard in the last few updates of the last newsletter entry, the wiki now has German translations of some of its pages. The interwiki links are visible on the few pages such as the SdKfz 251 Hopefully as time passes, many more pages will be translated so that our German audience can share the same experience. I am recruiting editors to help export and translate for those interested. The main effects of this change are...

Welcome to the first newsletter of the blog type! From now on all newsletter entries will be entered as blog posts. If you would like to view the original newsletters, then you can view them here. Link Anyway, the fact for today is that the Battle of the Bismarck Sea began. I can't say that many changes have been made to wiki administration but the Stub Movement V3 is still on so anyone can still earn more ranks at this point as long as the try to fix as many stubs as possible. 17:30,3/2/2013 17:30, March 2, 2013 (UTC)
UPDATE: The following piece of information is very important and I strongly encourage those on the wiki to reply if they can. The wiki needs several editors to translate all of the wiki's articles and information into German.…

Well I'm writing this blog post to the WWII Wiki's readers, what do you want to see here on the wiki? I know there is already a poll on the home page that asks what you readers want in terms of articles but in this post, I want you readers to write in the comments what you want to see on this wiki in general. I will read all the posts so don't think your opinions will go unnoticed. 05:16,2/6/2013 05:16, February 6, 2013 (UTC)
