The M6 Gun Motor Carriage was a self-propelled gun that was used by the United States during WWII. It had a Dodge T-214 engine that was capable of propelling it at speeds of up to 88.5 kilometers per hour. It also had a crew of four men and its armament consisted of a rear facing 37 mm M3 AT Gun. The M6 "Fargo" was fairly reliable in combat as it was used until the end of the war and it was used namely in the infantry support role. The M6 could not fulfill the anti-tank role as its 37 mm armament could not penetrate the armor of the standard German tank.
