Mauser HSc

A Mauser HSc.

The Mauser HSc was a pistol produced and used by Germany during World War II.

Description[]

The HSc was chambered for 7.65 mm (.32 ACP) cartridges and had a magazine capacity of eight rounds. The HSc was blowback-operated and had a self-cocking hammer.

History[]

First produced in 1937 at Waffenfabrik Mauser, the Mauser HSc was designed for military use. Due to its handy size and lightness, it seemed suitable for the Luftwaffe. The Luftwaffe adopted it as their standard sidearm. The "HSc" designation means "Hahn Selbstspanner Pistole[1]", "Self-cocking Hammer, pistol, model C".[2]
