The 3Ro only required one crew member, the driver, and it had a 4 speed forward, 1 speed reverse transmission. The Lancia also had a 5-cylinder, diesel powered, 93 hp, 6871 cc engine capable of propelling the truck at speeds of up to 32 km/h. It was capable of traveling well on both roads and desert sand and had a carrying capacity of either 32 soldiers or a light tank.[1]
