The .45 ACP was an American cartridge used in several firearms during World War II.

With a rim and body diameter of 12.0mm, the .45 ACP (11.5 x 23) cartridge weighs 14.9 grams, and has a muzzle velocity of 260 metres per second.[1]
Weapons using the cartridge[]
As well as the Colt 1911A1 pistol[2] and the Thompson Submachine Gun, the cartridge was also used in the De Lisle silent carbine.[1]
